Ingredients for 4

  • Your favorite 6-pack of Wisconsin brats

  • Your favorite Wisconsin lite beer (9 oz)

  • 1/3 yellow onion sliced into rings

Directions

  • Step 1

    Place brats in vacuum bag (or ziplock by submersion method) with onions. Add about 9 oz of beer and remove air from bag.

  • Step 2

    Refrigerate overnight if possible, or 3 hours, or not at all.

  • Step 3

    Sous vide at 150 degrees Fahrenheit for 90 minutes.

      Bring charcoal grill to 300-350 degrees Fahrenheit.

    • Step 1

      Finish brats as usual on grill, turning after 10 minutes to obtain a golden brown color and grill marks.
