Ingredients for 4

  • Chicken breasts (I use 1kg)

  • Lemon or lime juice

  • Turmeric

  • Garlic paste

  • Ginger paste

  • Optional other spices like Garam masala or cayenne pepper

  • Little sunflower oil

Directions

  • Step 1

    Mix garlic, ginger, spices, lemon or lime juice, and oil together and coat chicken breasts. Place in vacuum or ziploc bag and seal. Let the chicken marinade for a few hours in the fridge.

  • Step 2

    Place chicken bag into sous vide bath at 65.5 Celsius for 2 hours

  • Step 3

    Brown off chicken breasts in a hot skillet or pan right before serving. A blow torch can also be used.

  • Step 4

    Serve with couscous, pilaf rice, or a green salad!
