Ingredients for 4

  • 3-4lb tri tip

  • Lowry’s Chile Garlic Salt

  • Pepper

  • Paprika

  • Red Pepper Flakes

  • Peppercorn Medley

  • 4 sprigs Rosemary

  • 1/2 - 1 tbsp butter

  • Olive oil

Directions

  • Step 1

    Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 130ºF / 54.4ºC

  • Step 2

    Cut off hard pieces of fat on tri tip roast

  • Step 3

    Dry tri tip with a paper towel, then add spices generously

  • Step 4

    Add tri tip to vacuum seal bag

  • Step 5

    Put 1/4-1/2 square of butter and 1 sprig rosemary on both sides of roast.

  • Step 6

    Cook in sous vide 6 hours at 130 degrees.

    • Broil

      Take roast out of vacuum seal bag and pat dry with paper towel

    • Step 1

      Brush tri tip with olive oil

    • Step 2

      Broil 3-5 minutes per side or until browned
