Tri tip roast with mild spices

Directions

  1. Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 130ºF / 54.4ºC
  2. Cut off hard pieces of fat on tri tip roast
  3. Dry tri tip with a paper towel, then add spices generously
  4. Add tri tip to vacuum seal bag
  5. Put 1/4-1/2 square of butter and 1 sprig rosemary on both sides of roast.
  6. Cook in sous vide 6 hours at 130 degrees.

Broil

  1. Take roast out of vacuum seal bag and pat dry with paper towel
  2. Brush tri tip with olive oil
  3. Broil 3-5 minutes per side or until browned
