2-4 lb tri tip steak trimmed
2 tablespoons minced garlic
Ground pepper
Kosher salt
1/3 cup Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce

Heat one side of your grill on high heat for 5 minutes to get the grill hot.

Remove the steak from the bag. Pat dry with paper towels. Remove as much as the BBQ as possible.

Place the steak on the grill, leave on high heat. Turn the steak after 1:30. Every BBQ is different so your timing might be different. You want some nice grill marks and no burning of the steak.

Remove from grill after both sides have been finished. Place the steak on a cutting board or plate and let rest for 10 minutes.

Put juices from the soups vide bag in a bowl and combine with 1/2 of BBQ sauce. Drizzle some on top of the steak and leave the remaining for serving.
