Ingredients
- 2-4 lb tri tip steak trimmed
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- Ground pepper
- Kosher salt
- 1/3 cup Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce

Finishing Steps
- Heat one side of your grill on high heat for 5 minutes to get the grill hot.
- Remove the steak from the bag. Pat dry with paper towels. Remove as much as the BBQ as possible.
- Place the steak on the grill, leave on high heat. Turn the steak after 1:30. Every BBQ is different so your timing might be different. You want some nice grill marks and no burning of the steak.
- Remove from grill after both sides have been finished. Place the steak on a cutting board or plate and let rest for 10 minutes.
- Put juices from the soups vide bag in a bowl and combine with 1/2 of BBQ sauce. Drizzle some on top of the steak and leave the remaining for serving.
