Ingredients for 4
Flank steak - 1 kg cut into 1 inch steaks
Sweet basil (fresh and lightly chopped) - 2 cups
Red wine - 1 tsp
Black pepper - 1 tsp
Light soy sauce - 1/4 cup
Truffle oil - 1 tsp
Garlic - 1/2 clove
Directions

Step 1
Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 134.6ºF / 57.0ºC.

Step 2
Put all ingredients (except the steak) into a blender and finely blend.

Step 3
Combine the blended ingredients in a ziploc bag with the steak and make sure that the steak is well covered in the marinade. Then place in the water bath.

Grill/torch

Step 0
Remove the steak from the bag and save the jus and basil separately.

Either on the grill or using a kitchen torch, brown the steak on both sides until desired crispiness.

Slice into thin slices and plate. Dribble the saved jus/basil over the top and serve with sides of your choice.
