Ingredients for 4

  • Spare Ribs

  • ————

  • Dry Rub:

  • 4 Tbsp Brown Sugar

  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper

  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder

  • 1 tsp Thyme

  • 1 tsp Coriander

  • 1 tsp Cumin

  • 1 tsp White Pepper

  • 1 tsp Black Pepper

  • 2 tsp Salt

  • ————

  • Preferred Barbecue Sauce

Directions

  • Step 1

    Flip the ribs upside down and remove the thin membrane

  • Step 2

    Add the dry rub and spread it well around both sides

  • Step 3

    Place the ribs inside a vacuum bag, and vacuum seal it or use a ziplock bag and perform the water immersion method. (Optional: add a few drops of liquid smoke inside the bag)

  • Step 4

    Let them rest in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours

  • Step 5

    Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 149.9ºF / 65.5ºC.

  • Step 6

    Place the ribs in the bath and cook for 20 hours

    • Step 0

      Add preferred BBQ sauce and sear.

    • Step 1

      Add a second layer of BBQ sauce and sear again to caramelize sauce.
