4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne (optional)
2 boneless pork shoulder steaks, about 1 to 1 ½ inches thick

Attach an Anova Precision Cooker to a vessel of water and set the temperature to 140°F (60°C).

In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, kosher salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using) to make a spice paste. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder steaks.
