Ingredients for 1

  • 8 oz Bison Sirloin Steak per person

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Dry rub Steak Seasoning such as Mitchell Street by Penzy’s

  • Olive Oil

Directions

  • Step 1

    Heat sous vide to 130.

  • Step 2

    Season both sides of the bison steak with salt, pepper and steak seasoning. I use Mitchell Street from Penzy’s because I like the smokey flavor. Use what you like.

  • Step 3

    Place steak into individual sous vide bags remove air and seal. Cook for 2-4 hours.

  • Step 4

    Remove the cooked bison from the bag and dry the meat off well. Heat olive oil in pan and sear the bison on both sides. 1-2 minutes per side.

  • Step 5

    Remove from heat and allow to rest before carving.

      Made a mushroom pan sauce for dinner with mashed potatoes and then had in a salad the next day. Fabulous and easy.
