Salmon with honey, garlic and herbs
I am a home cook and a beginner to sou vide cooking using the Anova. I am enjoying using the variety of recipes on this site and hope to add a few of my own!

Ingredients for 1
3 lb. salmon (about 6 salmon filets)
1-2 T. olive oil
Salt
6 T. honey
3. T. orange juice
6 cloves garlic, minced
3 T. thyme (fresh, stems removed and chopped)
1.5 T. rosemary (fresh, stems removed and chopped)
1 orange, thinly sliced in rounds

Step 1
Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 130ºF / 54.4ºC

Prepare salmon. Drizzle olive oil and season with salt; rub salmon lightly, distributing the oil and salt.

In a small bowl combine, honey, orange juice, garlic, thyme and rosemary.

Put two pieces into each bag, side by side. Spread honey garlic mixture over the top of each piece, and add a slice of orange.

Refrigerate salmon for half an hour, then process in Anova.

The salmon is ready to serve. Carefully remove from bag. I served this with saffron rice and broccoli. Enjoy!
