  • 400g piece beef rump

  • Olive oil

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • Black pepper

  • Salt

Directions

  • Step 1

    Preheat sous vide to 54.4C

  • Step 2

    Heat BBQ or cast iron pan over high heat.

  • Step 3

    Season beef rump all over with salt & pepper & rub with olive oil before searing on all sides.

  • Step 4

    Mix Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic powder & black pepper in vacuum bag.

  • Step 5

    Add seared beef rump to bag & vacuum seal.

  • Step 6

    Add to water bath & cook for 6 hours.
