Peach liqueur

Ingredients for 8

• 2 1/2- 3 cups peaches

• 2 cups everclear

• 1/2 cup sugar

• 1/2 cup water

Directions

• Step 1

  Cut up peaches and place in 1 qt Mason jar

• Step 2

  Pour everclear over peaches.

• Step 3

  Seal lid. Immerse in 130° bath for 2.5 hrs.

• Step 4

  Let cool.

  Make simple syrup from 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup sugar. Let syrup cool

• Step 1

  When infusion and syrup are cool, open jar, and pour infusion into a container, straining out pieces of peaches, letting as much liquid drain out you can

• Step 2

  Add syrup to infusion, and mix thoroughly

• Step 3

  Bottle.
