1 1/2” New York Steak
Kosher Salt
Coarse Black Pepper
Butter
High heat oil
Directions

Step 1
Fill water tub and start Anova preheating

Step 2
Salt and pepper steak to your preference

Step 3
Put steak in ziplock bag and remove air.

Step 4
When water gets to 135° fully submerge steak.

Step 5
After 1 hour remove from water and ziplock bag

Finishing Steps

Step 0
Preheat cast iron pan to medium high searing temperature. Add oil

Step 1
Sear both sides and edges to a dark brown

Step 2
Add butter to pan and quickly baste then turn over and baste other side.

Step 3
Remove from pan and plate.
