New York Steak 1 1/2”
New York is not our normal go to steak but this came out great. Cooked to perfection, medium rare and juicy.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2” New York Steak
- Kosher Salt
- Coarse Black Pepper
- Butter
- High heat oil
Directions
- Fill water tub and start Anova preheating
- Salt and pepper steak to your preference
- Put steak in ziplock bag and remove air.
- When water gets to 135° fully submerge steak.
- After 1 hour remove from water and ziplock bag
Finishing Steps
- Preheat cast iron pan to medium high searing temperature. Add oil
- Sear both sides and edges to a dark brown
- Add butter to pan and quickly baste then turn over and baste other side.
- Remove from pan and plate.
