New York is not our normal go to steak but this came out great. Cooked to perfection, medium rare and juicy.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Fill water tub and start Anova preheating
  2. Salt and pepper steak to your preference
  3. Put steak in ziplock bag and remove air.
  4. When water gets to 135° fully submerge steak.
  5. After 1 hour remove from water and ziplock bag

Finishing Steps

  1. Preheat cast iron pan to medium high searing temperature. Add oil
  2. Sear both sides and edges to a dark brown
  3. Add butter to pan and quickly baste then turn over and baste other side.
  4. Remove from pan and plate.
