Ingredients for 4

  • 1 fresh sprig rosemary per steak

  • 1 fresh sprig thyme per steak

  • 1 Teaspoon minced garlic per steak

  • S&P to taste

  • 4 - 1 1/2 inch thick filet

  • Real butter

  • Avocado oil

Directions

  • Step 1

    Vacuum seal ingredients and place in fridge for a few hours.

  • Step 2

    Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 139.0ºF / 59.4ºC.

  • Step 3

    Cook for 1 1/2 hours or until meat reaches 130 degrees

  • Step 4

    Sear in butter 1 min each side, baste with melted butter while searing.

      I use an enamel coated cast iron pan. Get nice and hot, add a couple tablespoons of avocado oil and two tablespoons salted butter.
