Ingredients for 0

  • 2 Filet Mignon 1 &1/2 inches thick

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • 3 cloves garlic crushed

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 3 cloves garlic minced

  • 1/2 shallot minced

  • 2 ounces red wine

  • 2 tablespoons virgin olive oil

Directions

  • Step 1

    Salt and pepper filets and place in plastic bag with crushed garlic

  • Step 2

    Set temperature to 139 degrees for one hour 45 minutes

  • Step 3

    Remove from plastic. Reverse sear in hot olive oil for 90 seconds on each side

  • Step 4

    Remove to serving plate and melt butter in skillet. Add in shallot/garlic and wine. Reduce to desired consistency.

  • Step 5

    Pour over steak and serve.
