Ingredients for 1
1 cooler
Drill
2.5 in hole saw
Directions
-
Step 1
Take any cooler you'd like to cut a hole in. The Anova machine recommends not heating anything larger than 30 quarts but since this cooler is so well insulated you can go larger and still maintain incredible heat accuracy.
-
Step 2
To plan out the positioning, you can take the bracket that holds your Anova Precision Cooker and using a sharpie you can establish a template or you can do what I do and just go with it.
-
Step 3
Upon drilling, you may need to stop while drilling the hole because the cooler could be like mine and come apart in layers. If that's the case, remove any layers stuck in the hole saw and start back up until you break all the way through

Step 0
If you'd like, you could take some medium grit sandpaper and smooth out the edges a bit but there should be plenty of room for the Anova Precision Cooker to fit perfectly.
