Ingredients for 6

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 can condensed milk

  • 1 can evaporated milk

  • 1tsp vanilla extract

  • 3/4 cup sugar for glazing the bottom of the jars

Directions

  • Step 1

    Add sugar to a pan (preferably non stick) an heat it on low heat, moving the pan once in a while, until sugar is dissolved and golden color.

  • Step 2

    While the sugar glaze is still hot, drizzle a little to cover the bottom of six 6oz mason jars. (Might have more if using 4oz jars)

  • Step 3

    While the sugar is cooking, beat the eggs, condensed milk and evaporated milk in a bowl. Add the vanilla.

  • Step 4

    Pour flan mixture on mason jars, then steal them tight.

  • Step 5

    Cook on sous vide for about 1 hour at 179F

  • Step 6

    Remove the jars, then let it cool. Jars can be refrigerated after that.
