Ingredients for 1
1.5 oz filet of beef
Salt
Pepper
1/4 Cup of Vegetable Oil
1 Tablespoon of Butter
1 Tablespoon of Dried Rosemary
1 Teaspoon of Garlic
Directions

Step 1
Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 134.0ºF / 56.7ºC.

Step 2
Salt and pepper filet(s) generously and then insert into ziplock bag; no more than two filets per bag. Pour in 1/4 cup of oil into the bag. Press air out of bag and seal.

Insert bags into heated water and clip to side of pot. Open bag to let any additional air out and reseal. Cook for two hours.

Once cooking time passes, remove meat and let sit for ten minutes.

Heat cast iron skillet to high heat. Add butter (one tablespoon per filet), herbs (rosemary preferred but choice of cook will do), and garlic.

Immediately add filet(s) and sear for sixty to ninety seconds per side.

While searing spoon over melted butter and seasoning on filet. Repeat once filet flipped.

Step 3
Let sit on cutting board and then slice in strips to serve or serve whole.
