Ingredients for 1

  • 450 gm chuck steak

  • 1/2 black garlic clove

  • Butter

Directions

  • Step 1

    Place chuck steak into bag, with 1/2 a black garlic clove, thinly sliced and a pad of butter

  • Step 2

    Place in sous vide and cook for 18 hrs

    • Finishing Steps

    • Step 0

      Remove steak from bag, then pat dry.

    • Step 1

      Caramelise steak in hot pan or with torch to liking

    • Step 2

      Pour juices from bag into pan and reduce whilst allowing steak to rest.

    • Step 3

      When reduced, add a little cream to make sauce

    • Step 4

      Pour over steak and enjoy
