Slow cooked chuck steak with creamy black garlic sauce

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Place chuck steak into bag, with 1/2 a black garlic clove, thinly sliced and a pad of butter
  2. Place in sous vide and cook for 18 hrs

Finishing Steps

  1. Remove steak from bag, then pat dry.
  2. Caramelise steak in hot pan or with torch to liking
  3. Pour juices from bag into pan and reduce whilst allowing steak to rest.
  4. When reduced, add a little cream to make sauce
  5. Pour over steak and enjoy
