4lb chuck steak
4 tsp kosher salt
4 tsp coarse pepper
4 bay leaves
5 chopped garlic cloves
Olive oil
Directions

Step 1
Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 131.0ºF / 55.0ºC.

Step 2
After salt and pepper, place meat into bag. Add bay leaves and garlic and seal according to instructions.

Place into water and then enjoy the rest of you day.

Take out the meat and dry off as much as possible with paper towel

Place into a very hot cast iron skillet and place a bacon press on top. Sear for 1 to 2 minutes on each side.

Use tongs and sear the sides as best you can
