Ingredients for 6

  • 2-4 lbs chuck roast

  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon Montreal steak seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon southern flavor charbroil seasoning

Directions

  • Step 1

    Combine seasonings and cover roast in seasoning

  • Step 2

    Vacuum seal roast covered in seasoning

  • Step 3

    Place in sous vide at 135 degrees for 24-30 hours.

    • Finishing Steps

    • Step 0

      Remove from sous vide and vacuum bag

    • Step 1

      Sear in pan for 2-3 mins per side or on grill at high temperature 2-3 mins per side.

    • Step 2

      After searing let rest for 5 mins covered in foil

    • Step 3

      Slice and serve.
