Ingredients for 5

  • 5 bratwurst sausages

  • 1 can beer

  • 1 bag chips

Directions

  • Step 1

    Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 150.0ºF / 65.6ºC.

  • Step 2

    Seal each brat individually with a few tablespoons of beer. I used sandwich bags and the water displacement method.

  • Step 3

    Drink any remaining beer while waiting for the water to heat up. You probably want some chips about now too.

  • Step 4

    Put the brats in the water and set the timer for 1 hr 30 min.

  • Step 5

    Have a nap or crack open another beer.

      Open each bag and remove the sausages, discarding the juices.

    • Step 1

      Heat a little oil or butter in a pan, or fire up the grill. Brown the outsides, turning as needed.
