Brats
Precook brats in beer so you know they are cooked perfectly, then grill them for brown & crispy outer casing.

Ingredients
- 5 bratwurst sausages
- 1 can beer
- 1 bag chips
Directions
- Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 150.0ºF / 65.6ºC.
- Seal each brat individually with a few tablespoons of beer. I used sandwich bags and the water displacement method.
- Drink any remaining beer while waiting for the water to heat up. You probably want some chips about now too.
- Put the brats in the water and set the timer for 1 hr 30 min.
- Have a nap or crack open another beer.
- Open each bag and remove the sausages, discarding the juices.
- Heat a little oil or butter in a pan, or fire up the grill. Brown the outsides, turning as needed.
