Ingredients for 4

  • Boneless Blade Pot Roast

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • 2 Cloves Garlic

  • Canola Oil

Directions

  • Step 1

    Rub roast all over with salt and pepper

  • Step 2

    Place roast inside sous vide bag

  • Step 3

    Smash garlic and add to sous vide bag

  • Step 4

    Cook with ANOVA

  • Step 5

    Remove roast from water when the timer beeps

      Pat roast dry

    • Step 1

      Season further with salt and pepper or other desired spices

    • Step 2

      Heat canola oil in stainless steel skillet on high heat (medium heat for gas stove)

    • Step 3

      Once oil is shimmering, use tongs to pick up roast and sear 1-2 minutes on all sides

    • Step 4

      Remove trussing and carve roast
