Ingredients
- Boneless Blade Pot Roast
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- Canola Oil
Directions
- Rub roast all over with salt and pepper
- Place roast inside sous vide bag
- Smash garlic and add to sous vide bag
- Cook with ANOVA
- Remove roast from water when the timer beeps
Finishing Steps
- Pat roast dry
- Season further with salt and pepper or other desired spices
- Heat canola oil in stainless steel skillet on high heat (medium heat for gas stove)
- Once oil is shimmering, use tongs to pick up roast and sear 1-2 minutes on all sides
- Remove trussing and carve roast
