Ingredients for 0

  • 2 - 3/4” thick Akaushi sirloin steaks

  • Rock salt

  • Fresh ground black pepper

  • Avocado oil

Directions

  • Step 1

    Take a 3/4” to 1” thick cut sirloin. I use Akaushi (red wagyu) beef. Season with rock salt and ground pepper. Seal and submerged. When finished remove from bag and pat dry In a black cast iron skillet heat the avocado oil to high temp slide the steak on the searing skillet. Sear both sides for 1 minute each. Sear the narrow edges to seal in juices. Let rest for 3-4 minutes slice and enjoy!
