A very simple prime rib roast recipe. While this is a two bone five pound roast the timing should be close for any size prime rib roast as running is based on the thickness of the roast - not the total weight like oven baked roasts.

Ingredients for 4

  • Two bone prime rib roast

  • Kosher salt

  • Ground pepper

  • Garlic powder

Directions

  • Step 1

    Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 133.0ºF / 56.1ºC.

  • Step 2

    Remove as much fat as you feel comfortable cutting, generously season with kosher salt, ground pepper, and garlic salt.

  • Step 3

    Seal in a vacuum bag and wait for the water to come up to temperature.

    • Step 1

      Cost with mayonnaise and put into 550 degree oven with broiler on high for ten minutes

    • Step 2

      Remove from oven and carve

    • Step 3

      Serve
