2 Bone Prime Rib Roast

A very simple prime rib roast recipe. While this is a two bone five pound roast the timing should be close for any size prime rib roast as running is based on the thickness of the roast - not the total weight like oven baked roasts.

Directions

  1. Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 133.0ºF / 56.1ºC.
  2. Remove as much fat as you feel comfortable cutting, generously season with kosher salt, ground pepper, and garlic salt.
  3. Seal in a vacuum bag and wait for the water to come up to temperature.

  1. Cost with mayonnaise and put into 550 degree oven with broiler on high for ten minutes
  2. Remove from oven and carve
  3. Serve
