Ingredients for 4

  • 4 chicken thighs

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Lemon slices

  • Thyme

  • Canola or vegetable oiling for searing


  • Step 1

    Set Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 165°F / 73.9°C

  • Step 2

    Season chicken with salt, pepper, and place lemon slice and thyme on each piece.

  • Step 3

    Place in vacuum bag or resealable ziplock bag.

  • Step 4

    Place in water bath and cook for 2 hours.

    • Stovetop Finish

      Heat cast-iron skillet over high heat.

    • Step 1

      Remove chicken from bag, discard lemon and thyme. Dry chicken well.

    • Step 2

      Place skin side down in hot pan and sear until skin is crispy and golden.

    • Step 3

      Garnish with lemon slices and enjoy.
