  • Potatoes

  • Butter

  • Milk

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Nutmeg

  • One egg per serving

  • One mason jar per serving

  • Chives (for garnish)

Directions

    Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 65ºC / 149.0ºF

  • Step 2

    First, you have to prepare mashed potatoes as normal. That is, peel potatoes, cook and then mash with butter and milk. Refine with salt, pepper and nutmeg as desired. Put the mashed potatoes into small preserving jars, fill them halfway and top with an egg. Then close the glasses lightly, by screwing the lid on, only with the fingertips – this way you avoid that the glasses burst during the cooking process. Then you can put them the water bath.

      After the hour is over, carefully remove the preserving jars from the water and garnish the egg sluts with chopped chives.
