Ingredients for 2
400 grs Picanha
1 Tbsp Butter
1 Red Pepper
1 Onion
1/2 Lemon (for the onion)
3 Potatoes
1/2 Eggplant
2 slices of Cheese
Salt
Pepper
Directions

Step 1
Cut the picanha into filets about 3 centimeters thick

Step 2
Season with salt and pepper. You may also add thyme, rosemary or your condiment of choice. 80% of a good steak is choosing it. Look at that marbling!!

Step 3
Place them into a zip lock bag using the vacuum water immersion technique

Place into water bath at 56°C (132°F) for 2 hours. This will result in medium rare steak

Place the vegetables in the oven or grill at 200°C (392°F) with olive oil, salt and pepper. Some tips... Remove the seeds and white membranes from the peppers and fill them with cheese! Wrap the potatoes in aluminum foil and then straight to the oven Cut the onion in half, add lemon salt peppers and butter. Put it back together and wrap it in aluminum foil. Take it to the oven.

Finishing Steps

With kitchen paper dry off any excess humidity in the steak. Be careful not to take away much of that precious salt and pepper you seasoned with

Step 1
Preheat a pan or grill to the hottest possible setting (don't go crazy). You wanna give your steaks a very nice crust.

Spread a thin layer of butter or oil (could be olive oil but watch out for the taste) on each side of the steaks

Place the steaks onto the very hot pan or grill for no more than a minute. You wanna seal it. The butter will help

Step 4
Take the steaks off the pan and let sit for a minute or two. Do not cut it right after getting it out of the pan as it will lose its juiciness. Hold on!! We're almost there

Step 5
Serve it with some grilled or oven vegetables. Onion, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant. And some potatoes and butter in it.
