Ingredients for 1

  • Bone-in Ribeye

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Garlic powder

Directions

  • Step 1

    Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 127.0ºF / 52.8ºC.

  • Step 2

    Season ribeye with salt pepper and garlic powder.

  • Step 3

    Vacuum seal

  • Step 4

    Place in sous vide when at operating temperature for 1.5 hours.

    • Finishing Steps

    • Step 0

      Remove from vacuum sealed bag and pat dry.

    • Step 1

      Place in well heated cast iron pan with tablespoon of butter.

    • Step 2

      Sear each side until sizzling.

    • Step 3

      Place on a plate and cover with a cake dome.

    • Step 4

      Add smoke from smoker gun and let settle for 3 minutes.

    • Step 5

      Serve.
