My background is both Technical and Sales, but my hobby is creating great food. My wife and I live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Georgia. I own a commercial electric smoker and also Weber Genesis Grill and now my latest tool is the new Anova Precision Cooker. When I am not traveling, I am planning and working on our next dinner. Looking forward to putting my years of recipes to work with a new flare using the Anova Cooker!

Temperature :
140F / 60C
Ingredients
- 12-16 oz. American Wagyu Ribeye Steak
- Maldon Sea Salt Flakes
- Fresh Ground Pepper
Directions
- Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 140ºF / 60.0ºC
- Season the steak with salt and pepper and place in a vacuum bag and seal.
Add to water bath.
- 20 minutes before the steak is finished cooking heat your grill to 550-600 degrees.
When the cook is complete remove the steak from the bag and pat dry.
Grill for 2-3 minutes per side (you can also use a torch).
- Remove from grill (cover with foil) and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Note: The steak I bought is from Walmart, yep. The taste was amazing and it was fork tender. Normally I buy prime steaks, but this is my new go to steak for dinner.
