Tri tip steak burritos simple recipe for someone like myself that has very little cooking experience

  1. Cook TRI tip steaks in sous vide for at least 4 hours with salt and some butter slabs in the bag
  2. Best to let meat sit in fridge in bag overnight or for several hours to make it easier to cut into small pieces and to allow juices to soak back into the meat
  3. Cut meat into small cubes
  4. Put 1 and 1/4 cup water in a sauce pan add burrito seasoning and oregano bring to boil then let simmer 10 min with no meat
  5. Remove sauce from heat and stir in meat (adding meat to sauce after sauce is cooked allows the meat to remain perfectly cooked and tender) Note: I like to sometimes cook the sauce ahead of time and let into thicken up in the fridge for a while so it's more like a gravy)

Finishing Steps

  1. Add to tortillas and add cheese ..roll and enjoy (heating burrito for a short time in microwave to melt the cheese and soften tortilla is recommended)
