  1. Remove steak from refrigerator and pat dry
  2. Liberally apply salt, garlic & onion powders, and pepper to ALL sides.
  3. Place in water bath at 131 degrees for 12 hours
  4. Remove from bath, pat steak dry
  5. Preheat cast iron skillet on high
  6. Coat BOTH steak and a preheated cast iron with a cooking oil (olive)
  7. Sear on EACH side of the steak until liking (approximately 1-2 minutes per side)
