Tomahawk Steak
Delicious recipe for a 2.5lb tomahawk steak! Reddit users recommend to sustain the temp over 135 for best fat breakdown. The first time I made this (example in photos) I sous vide at 137° for 4 hours and it was a bit rare for my preference. I recommend 139° for medium.

Ingredients
- Himalayan Pink Salt
- Pepper - Fresh Ground
- Kinders Buttery Steakhouse Rub
- Trader Joe’s Coffee Garlic Rub
- Kerrygold Salted Butter
- 2.5lb tomahawk steak
Directions
- Salt steak heavily and place uncovered in fridge for a minimum of one hour (overnight is preferable).
- Add liberal amounts of pepper and/or rub
- Sous vide for 4 hours
Finishing Steps
- Sear on hot skillet or grill
- Add butter while grilling
- Allow to rest for 10 mins before cutting
