Ingredients
- 3x 8oz New York Strip
- Salt
- Pepper
- Thyme/Rosemary
- Butter
- Garlic
Directions
- Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 139.5ºF / 59.7ºC
- Season steak on all sides with salt and pepper.
- Add steak to sealed bag and place sprig of thyme or rosemary on both sides and garlic and/or shallots if using.
- Sous vide per suggested time (139.5F for 1 hour for Medium)
Stovetop
- Heat cast iron pan with some herbed butter and garlic cloves
- Sear steak on each side to desired crust. 1min per side. Bathe with the herbed butter.
- Serve immediately with some herb butter on top
- Serve with a side of mashed potatoes.
