Ingredients
- Full rack of pork ribs
- 1 can/8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1/3 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 dash salt
- 1/2 cup stout (dark) beer
Directions
- Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 62.8ºC / 145.0ºF
- Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Let cool. This is the BBQ Sauce. If too watery thickener such as corn starch can be added. Any left over can be stored or used when serving.
- Cut ribs into 4 sections and place in separate ziploc bags. Coat evenly with the BBQ sauce. Keep at least 1/4 cup for basting during the grilling. Cook for the required time (anywhere from 18-24 hrs will make the ribs juicy and tender).
Grill
- Remove the ribs and pat dry. Grill on high heat and baste with the remaining BBQ sauce. Grill just until the BBQ sauce starts to caramelize (approx. 5 mins/side).
