Sous Vide Mashed Potatoes
Super simple, perfectly creamy mashed potatoes, sous vide style.

Ingredients
- 500g potatoes
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp cream cheese
- 1 tbsp double cream
- Salt and pepper
Directions
- Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 90ºC / 194.0ºF
- Peel 500g of potatoes
- Dice the potatoes, and add them to a zipper lock or vacuum seal bag
- Add a pinch of salt
- Add 1 tbsp of unsalted butter, 1 tbsp of cream cheese, and 1 tbsp of double cream
- Add bag to Anova for 90 minutes
Once the Anova has done the hard work, check that the potatoes are soft in the bag, and follow the next steps to finish off
- Remove the potatoes from the bag, into a saucepan
- Mash them thoroughly until they are soft and creamy
- Serve with the dish of your choice (obviously it's sausages)
