Ingredients
- 10lb pork shoulder
- Barbecue Rub
- White Vinegar
- Oven Bag
Directions
- Season the outside of the pork shoulder with barbecue rub, then put into the barbecue for 4 hours at 180 degrees.
- Once pork shoulder has been in for 4 hours and developed its smoke ring, preheat your Anova to 185 and reseason on the outside with some fresh BBQ Rub.
- Move pork shoulder to an oven bag and then into the Anova bath for 26 hours.
- Preheat barbecue or oven to 400 degrees. Gently slide pork shoulder from bag into a foil-lined pan (It will be falling apart).
Finishing Steps
- Season shoulder with a small amount of bbq rub. Cook for 45 minutes to add a bit of crust to the outside. Once done, move to a large bowl and pull apart with tongs.
