This recipe takes into account multiple cultural factors that may not be present. First, that kosher meat is pre salted and therefore will naturally be even more so with the application of soy sauce. Second, that the average household of Hasidic descent enjoys simple but bold flavor. Third, that everything tastes a little bit better with garlic. This is my brother's recipe, so he always includes the caveat that the temp and ingredients should always be tweaked to the preferences of your audience. Enjoy!
