Ingredients
- High proof corn whiskey 62% abv
- White oak wood chips. Dark toast 3
- Distilled water
Directions
- Add 15 grams of American white oak (dark toast 3) in a quart sized canning jar.
- Add 32 ounces high proof corn liquor, cover and close lid tightly.
- Add jars to the water bath at 126 degrees for 24 hours.
- Rapid cool jars using a water bath. Cold water and ice.
- Fine strain liquor through a micro strainer and cheese cloth.
- Use a hydrometer and proof to about 50% abv (100 proof) with distilled water.
