Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat water bath to 135
  2. Pat steaks dry and season to taste
  3. Place steaks in single layer in ziploc freezer bags and seal with water displacement method
  4. Cook in water bath for 2 hours

Finishing Steps

  1. Preheat cast iron skillet on high or medium-high
  2. Add a small amount of avocado oil to skillet
  3. Remove steaks from bag and pat dry
  4. Add butter and garlic cloves to skillet
  5. Spoon butter on top of steak while the bottom sears
  6. Flip steaks and continue spooning butter until completely seared
  7. Add steaks to skillet
