Nashville Hot Chicken (mild)
This is a toned down version of Nashville Hot, it’s more mild.
Wet mixture (milk, egg, hot sauce)
Flour for coating chicken
Spices for infused oil

Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp hot sauce
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp cayenne
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 cup flour for coating chicken
Directions
- Cook chicken thighs at 167 for 2.5 hours
- Combine the wet mixture, this you will use to coat the chicken before coating in flour
- Coat chicken in flour
- Flash fry in oil, about 10 seconds per side
- Create the infused oil by combining spice mixture with 1/4 cup leftover oil from frying
Finishing Steps
- Spoon oil mixture into fried chicken and enjoy!
