- If you don’t freeze this, you can most likely throw the bag right in as it’s vacuum sealed well; however, I froze my tri-tip and it was no longer sealed enough for my liking after thawed out.
Therefore, I recommend re-sealing the tri-tip, I used my foodsaver to vacuum seal. Note, I strategically ensured to retain as much juice and seasoning from the original bag.
- Final product came out to our preference, medium/medium well
