Sous Vide Smokey Medium-Rare Steak
Perfectly seasoned and marinaded medium rare steak, accompanied by hints of garlic, thyme, and rosemary. Finished in a cast iron skillet for a natural, smokey flavor.

Ingredients
- 8-12 oz Ribeye or Strip Steak
- 1 tbsp of Liquid Smoke
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1-2 tbsp of unsalted butter
- 3 sprigs of Thyme
- 3 sprigs of Rosemary
- 3-4 cloves of garlic sliced
Directions
- Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 129ºF / 53.9ºC
- Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 129.0ºF / 53.9ºC.
- Pat steak dry and seal steak before placing in Sous Vide bath.
- Soak in bath for 2+ hours. For more even cooking, clip the longest end of the bag to the side of the basin.
- Remove steak from bath, cut open, and pat dry.

- Heat cast iron skillet on med-high heat.
- Once heated, melt butter in the skillet.
- Once butter is melted, place thyme, rosemary, and garlic in the skillet. Allow 2-3 minutes for ingredients to combine.
- Place steak in skillet and cook for 2-4 minutes per side.
- Remove steak, wrap in aluminum foil, and let rest for 10 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!
