Medium rare steaks w/ garlic butter and thyme

Ingredients
- 2 Ribeye steaks
- 4 Tbsp Butter
- Thyme
- 3 Garlic cloves
- Canola oil
- Corn starch
- Salt
- Pepper
Directions
- Set your Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker to 129.0ºF / 53.9ºC.
- Season steaks with salt and pepper.
- Smash garlic cloves and rub on steaks. Place steaks in bag with thyme and 2 tbsp butter.
- When Anova gets to temp place bag into water using water immersion technique.
Grill
- With 10 minutes remaining heat grill to highest setting with cast iron pan inside.
- When steaks have finished remove from bag and pat dry. Season again with salt and pepper. Cover in corn starch for a better crust.
- Brush a tbsp of canola oil onto pan and let heat until smoking.
- Place steaks onto pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until you see a nice crust.
- Remove from pan and place onto wire rack to rest for 5 minutes.
